This is a very entertaining and informative article which does a great job of giving the consumer a peak into the behind-the-scenes world of us Realtors. We agree with all 8 topics but let's throw in 1 more: Don't spend 30 minutes looking at a house that you know you are not going to buy! If it's not the right place, take a quick look and move on. Zillow is a widely used consumer site that displays "values" of real estate. Here is a short video showing the dangers of using Zillow's "Zestimates" when making important decisions. For instance, in our county the average "Zestimate" is off by 9% when compared with actual certified appraisals.
